Climate
The Nosy Bé region enjoys a privileged climate. With an average of 345 days of sunshine per year, the weather is most often very pleasant and the temperature mild, with an average varying from 25°C in the cool season to 30°C in the hot season. During the wet season, there are often only thunderstorms that occur in the evening, generally giving way to clear skies from dawn, and the days are usually sunny, interspersed with cloudy periods with occasional showers.
Cyclones, which form in the Indian Ocean between January and March, sometimes hit the east coast of Madagascar, the northern tip and, more rarely, the southern tip and the west coast of Madagascar.
The cyclone risk remains very low in the Nosy Bé region, which is more protected.
(the last cyclone to impact the Nosy Bé region was in March 2004, nothing since!).
The dry season: April to November.
Wet season: December to March.
